After
I published the "Your Name Above the Title" last week, I received a message from a reader who
informed me that: “... he [Zuckerberg] asked that his name not be
placed there but the board wanted it to be a source of donations.”
Whether
it was the Board of Supervisors or the Facebook board, I think it was
bad advice. Putting his name before the city makes it look like he wanted naming rights in return for the money, like AT&T Park.
It's good to know that wasn't the case,
but it still looks he did.
