All
of Van Ness Avenue is currently torn up for the construction of
a light-rail transit line that will run down the median strip.
While the traffic delays caused during all this construction are hard to deal with, it does allow for a more unobstructed view
of the Zio Ziegler mural adorning the southern wall of the Calista Hotel.
