This is the PG&E substation at Larkin and Eddy.
Sometimes in the afternoon, when the Larkin Street sidewalk isn’t being hosed down, a number of homeless people will set up shop to sell merchandise.
People who get their information about homeless people from movies and TV think this
is where all sorts of stolen goods are sold.
I went by there a few weeks ago when the sidewalks weren't being hosed down to take photos of some of the items people were selling:

If you're looking for a hot item to sell on eBay for big bucks,
homeless street sales are not the place to do it.
