One
of the signs of gentrification, or at least being flush, is
repainting the building you own. There has been a lot of this in my neighborhood in the past several months.
The drab, lackluster exterior of 1105 Bush at Leavenworth
has been replaced with much sunnier one.
The 1909 Victorian at 1551 -- 1553
½ California Street
is now another picture-postcard painted victorian of san francisco.
The dun-colored 1589 Sacramento Street
has been transformed to this.
Even the Guitar Center building at 1645 Van Ness got a cleaning
and now looks bright as new.
