In
the last few years, orchids have become a hobby of mine.
A
few months ago, I found two orchids in the building trash,
tossed out because they had stopped blooming. I took them in and
repotted them in fresh bark in November 2016. This is what they looked like in December 2016:

The one on the left had two bloom shoots at that time, but an accident caused one of them to break off. Fortunately, the other orchid had begun to grow a bloom shoot.
