NEIGHBORHOOD MURALS (#9 in a series)

Southern side of Sonoma Inn, 1485 Bush Street

One comes upon this great new mural by Zoe Ziegler unexpectedly. Painted on the southern side of the Sonoma Inn on 1485 Bush, it’s mainly only visible on Van Ness Avenue from Sutter to Bush Streets, and only then if one is driving or walking north towards the bay on the western sidewalk of Van Ness.

It’s called ‘The Woman Who Believes in Magic…and Found It.’

Indeed.

NEIGHBORHOOD OPENINGS 2015 -- UNKNOWN ART GALLERY (#2 in a series)

The Unknown Art Gallery (I believe it's called that, but it's hard to say since there's no name above the door) also opened late in 2014. It’s located at 1519 Polk Street, next to Swan's Oyster Depot.

NEIGHBORHOOD FATHER’S DAY

San Francisco is said to be a city with more dogs than children.

I beg to differ.

In my neighborhood, many of the new residents are couples with children. So, since last month I published photos of neighborhood moms, here are photographs of some of the neighborhood dads (my changing neighborhood -- blogspot of gender equality). Some were taken with permission; others weren’t, but all were taken with sincerity.

May you all raise non-fubar adults.
