NEIGHBORHOOD OPENINGS 2016 (#5 in a series) – MR. HOLMES BAKEHOUSE

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, a bakery selling high-end cookies, donuts, croissants, scones and cruffins, actually opened last year at 1042 Larkin between Sutter and Post (high-end because a dozen donuts costs over $40). I had passed by the store many times before, but always after 2:30 in the afternoon, when it's closed. The above photo, taken in the morning, is the first time I've been by there when it's open.
